Arsene Wenger spoke of his concern for defender Kieran Gibbs following Arsenal's Carling Cup extra-time win at Tottenham.
The left-back hobbled out after 102 minutes with what the Gunners boss fears could be another metatarsal problem.
The youngster missed a large part of last season because of a similar injury.
Wenger said:
"We have to check, that is the only disappointment of the night, because Gibbs had a very good game.
"We hope we do not get bad news tomorrow morning.
"It is a metatarsal again, it is the one next to the one he had broken, the second one, so we hope we have good news tomorrow morning, because that would be a massive blow to us."
