England U21 star linked with January move - Ramsey begins his comeback

Morning Gooners.

The January transfer window doesn't open for another 53 days yet there appears to be rumours every week about who we're going to sign and different players we're scouting.

One of those players is Blackburn Rovers defender Phil Jones who has been linked with a move to one the new era "Big Four" by The Sun.

Jones is a 5ft 11in defender who was represented England at under-21 level. Having made ten starts for Sam Allardyce's side last season, this term he has played in all 11 league matches from the start.

The newspaper links him with Arsenal, Chelsea and the two Manchester clubs for a fee in the region of £10 million.

Elsewhere, The Daily Mail and Daily Mirror say Aaron Ramsey will step up his rehabilitation from his double leg break with an outing for the reserves tonight.

The midfielder is pencilled in to take part in a match against Everton at London Colney later.

Wales captain Ashley Williams told the Mail:
"It's a boost for Welsh football and Aaron himself. Everyone is pleased to see him back as Aaron is a top star.
"We have probably missed him in the last couple of games. The way he plays is quite free; he is creative and not scared of trying things.
"Aaron has been to a few games to support the lads and he has been happy with the progress.
"It was a nasty injury. You don't want to see that happen to any footballer especially someone you know.
"He's back ahead of schedule and he's a cracking lad. I just hope to see him back playing for us soon."
It will be great for Aaron to get some minutes under his belt. I hope he comes through the game without any set backs.
