Wenger should ring the changes: Bench Nasri, Arshavin and Song for Partizan

Arsenal have to win tonight's Champions League match against Partizan Belgrade but even though we're in need of a victory I think Arsene Wenger should make substantial changes to his starting line up.

Although we're not yet through to the knock out stages, I believe the manager has the chance to rest some players.

Partizan have lost at Shakhtar and Braga, so why shouldn't the manager rest some key players for next Monday's trip to Old Trafford.

We've got a very strong squad this season, so for the likes of Sagna, Clichy, Song, Nasri and Arshavin, we could replace them with Eboue, Clichy, Denilson, Walcott and Van Persie.

And that would leave us with a team with nine full internationals in it, Denilson and Koscielny the ones yet to be capped by their countries.

The one player who I wouldn't remove from the starting line up is Marouane Chamakh.

He's a proven scorer in the Champions League with an outstanding record.

The Moroccan has scored in eight out of his last nine games and put the ball in the back of the net in his last six games in a row.

I believe both Eboue and Gibbs are good enough to cope on the flanks and I believe they need games to get them to the next level.

Song has played 18 out of our 24 games this season, so this might be the ideal time to give him a rest. I believe Denilson can come in and perform tonight and has been good in most of his run outs for the side.

In attack there is no doubting Theo Walcott and Robin Van Persie need games. The England attacker played 90 minutes in the Carling Cup and 17 minutes at the weekend against Fulham, whilst the Dutchman lasted 73 minutes against Wigan in the league cup and came off the bench for a 27 minute cameo against Fulham.

Another shift for both of those tonight would be welcome in their return from injury.

Three points and we're definately through. Even a draw will do, if Shakhtar defeat Braga. But I believe it will be a good performance and we'll score a numbers of goals tonight.

So my starting line up would be:

Fabianski

Eboue - Squillaci - Koscielny - Gibbs

Denilson - Wilshere

Walcott - Van Persie - Rosicky

Chamakh

Subs: Szczesny - Sagna - Clichy - Song - Arshavin - Nasri - Bendtner

I'll post the line up once it's announced. Come on you Gooners!
