Does Arsene Wenger have a selection dilemia? Will Theo Walcott start?

Arsene Wenger said in his pre-match interview with Arsenal TV Online that Alex Song has a 30% chance of making playing in the game with Newcastle, so to me that rules him out.

The other player who is also a serious doubt is Theo Walcott.

The Englishman picked up a knock on Tuesday night but the manager believes his right-sided attacker should make it.

However, does the manager seriously want to risk a player when we have a big game against Barcelona coming up in 11 days time?

Playing Newcastle without him would seem odd as he would provide the width and pace to stretch Alan Pardew's side.

But playing without him in the Champions League could mean we go into that tie without one of our key attackers.

Is it time to put Walcott in cotton-wool until February 16?

Whilst it is key, in my mind, that he play in the Champions League if we are to have any chance of progressing, I believe the league title is a real possibility for us to be able to win this season.

It's the piece of silverware every Gooner would want to pick up most and the manager wants us to win, so that's why I believe Walcott will start today.

With Song out, his natural replacement in the deep-lying midfield role is Abou Diaby.

The only other change I would make is the return to the starting line up of Andrey Arshavin in place of Tomas Rosicky.

Here is my Arsenal line up for today:

Sagna - Djourou - Koscielny - Clichy

Diaby - Wilshere

Walcott - Fabregas - Arshavin

van Persie

I'll post the line up when the manager announces it.  Come on you Gooners!
