"Jack needs to keep calm, focused and professional"

Cesc Fabregas has heaped further praise on team mate Jack Wilshere.

The Arsenal captain picked out the 19-year-old as one of the star players in the Gunners 2-1 victory over the Spanish champions last week.

He also looked back on his own performance when as an 18-year-old he was a star performer in Arsenal's victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Wilshere was again on top form last night as Arsenal beat Stoke City at the Grove.

Fabregas, writing in his column in the matchday programme, said:
"Jack recieved a lot of credit for his performance and rightly so. He played very well and that's what you want from him - if you're playing for Arsenal against Barcelona youn want the best players to be on your team, and he was one of them.
"He's worked very hard and is having a good period at the moment, as he has played for England recently and has been in very good form for us.
"Now he just has to keep it going - I remember having a great game at the Bernabeu when I was only 18, but at the very top it's sometimes very easy for your level to drop.
"So Jack needs to keep calm, focused and professional just as he is currently doing for us; we are very happy with how he is doing."
