Wenger offers Gooners hope by saying Nasri could face Barca

Arsene Wenger offered every Gooner extra hope that Arsenal could beat Barcelona by suggesting Samir Nasri could be fit to face the Spanish champions.

The Frenchman has been the Gunners stand out player this season scoring nine Premier League goals.

He limped out of Arsenal's fourth round tie with Huddersfield Town with a hamstring injury.

It was thought Nasri would not be fit to face the Spanish champions but the Arsenal manager offered Gooners renewed hope that his number eight would return on Wednesday.

Wenger said:
"I would not say that there is no chance [that Nasri could play]."
