New Gary Cahill link - Wilshere an England starter - Fabregas to Barcelona

Morning Gooners.

A quick round up of news making the Sunday papers.

The News of the World (£) have linked us again with an end of season move for Bolton's Gary Cahill.

The red-top suggests Arsene Wenger is willing to stretch to £15 million for the central defender because he needs back up for Thomas Vermaelen, Johan Djourou, Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci.

Manchester United and Tottenham are also linked with the player.

The Sunday People say Jack Wilshere is now firmly in Fabio Capello's thoughts as one of the first names on his England team sheet.

The England manager says Wilshere's performances against Barcelona in the Champions League have virtually guaranteed his place in the team which takes on Wales next Saturday.

Capello said:
"Wilshere, after the game against Barcelona, has arrived. You can understand the value of those performances.
"As a young player I think he is at the top, not only in England but in Europe and the world.
"He is first choice for me because he is good because he plays without fear, with confidence.
"I never saw someone so young be a leader on the pitch – it's incredible."
Both the Daily Star Sunday and Sunday Express have said Arsenal will consider an offer of £45 million for Captain Cesc Fabregas in the summer.

The Express quote an Arsenal source as saying:
"Arsenal are a selling club – and every player has his price
"They dug their heels in last summer because Barcelona didn't match their valuation. But they will let him go with their best wishes if they receive an offer that reflects what Fabregas is worth, which is around £45m."
But they say Arsenal hold all the cards in negotiations because Fabregas still has four years left on his contract.
