Ramsey, Wilshere and Arshavin in action for their countries - the latest

Three Arsenal players were in action for their countries in 3pm kick offs this afternoon.

Jack Wilshere played for 81 minutes in England's 2-0 victory over Wales. Wilshere had a mixed first half, adapting to the game and getting fouled on several occasions. He stepped up his game in the second period when he was more involved and had a couple of good shooting opportunities. He was replaced by Fabio Capello nine minutes before time for Stuart Downing.

Aaron Ramsey led Wales in the same match. The 20-year-old midfielder played the whole 90 minutes for the home side and had a good game although there were some poor passes, as he also grew into the game.

Andrey Arshavin played 90 minutes for Russia before being substituted in injury time for Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. The Arsenal man was involved heavily in the 0-0 draw with Armenia which leaves Russia top of group B with ten points.
