Swiss FA think Johan Djourou will play again this season

The Swiss Football Association believe that Johan Djourou could play again this season - as soon as March 26.

Arsene Wenger said on Saturday the central defender's season was over after a coming together with Bacray Sagna which the Arsenal manager said had dislocated Djourou's shoulder.

However after being examined yesterday at London Colney, there are believed to be no fractures or injury to the bones and ligaments strained during the dislocation of the shoulder do not seem too serious.

It is hoped that rather than Djourou's season being over he could play again - as early as March 26 when the Swiss take on Bulgaria in a Euro 2012 qualifier.
