Why couldn't Arsenal show the same desire as Manchester United?

On paper, Arsenal had the better team, there can be no denying that.

But they failed yet again to show the application.

We were slow, ponderous in possession. It wasn't until the second half where we threw on Marouane Chamakh, Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky that the Gunners went for their hosts.

We created. We had shots on target. But we couldn't find the back of the net.

Johan Djourou went off injured in the final ten minutes leaving Arsenal with just ten men on the pitch and there was never any way back.

Why couldn't we get motivated for this game? We could have been going to Wembley again. Now we're left with the league title as the only trophy we can win.
