Fabregas, Nasri and Diaby out | Clichy doubtful | Ramsey starts

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri have failed to recover from their injuries in time to face Stoke on Sunday.

The Arsenal Captain picked up a thigh injury in training last weekend and was not selected for the Manchester United game.

Nasri came off at half time of the 1-0 victory last weekend with a hamstring injury and will not play a part on Sunday either.

The only other player confirmed not to be involved in Sunday's clash is Abou Diaby who has a calf injury.

Full back Gael Clichy is doubtful with a slight hamstring injury.

However Arsene Wenger confirmed Aaron Ramsey would start on his first return to the Britannia Stadium after he had his leg broken by Ryan Shawcross there last February.
