International watch: Ten gunners on duty; two injured

Gervinho starred in the Ivory Coast's 4-3 victory over Israel in Geneva. Only 2,000 people watched the game where Arsenal's summer signing provided two assists. He left the field of play on 88 minutes without injury.

Aaron Ramsey was withdrawn by Wales manager Gary Speed after 45 minutes as a precaution after a reported calf strain. The Welsh lost 2-1 to Australia in the game in Cardiff. The Welsh captain told the media post match he hopes to be fit to face Newcastle on Saturday.

Samir Nasri played for 70 minutes and Bacary Sagna completed 80 minutes in France's 1-1 draw with Chile in Montpellier. Neither appeared to finish the game with injury.

Wojciech Szczesny completed 90 minutes without injury in Poland's 1-0 victory over Georgia. The goalkeeper finished the game without injury.

Johan Djourou completed 63 minutes for Switzerland as they beat Liechtenstein 2-1. The defender left the field without any apparent injury.

Andrey Arshavin completed 31 minutes in Russia's 1-0 victory over Serbia. The Arsenal forward left the field with a gash above his eyebrow whist the game was goal less.

Tomas Rosicky played 67 minutes in the Czech Republic's 3-0 defeat against Norway in Oslo. The attacker was substituted without any apparent injury.

Nicklas Bendtner was used for  60 minutes in Denmark's 2-1 defeat to Scotland. The forward left the field without any apparent injury.
