Great news! Arsenal have signed a striker... No it's not Gonzalo Higuain, Wayne Rooney or Luis Suarez.
It's Joel Campbell. I know technically we own him already but now he can actually play football for us because he's received a work permit. He's like a new signing!
Happy to have received my work permit in England... Still waiting for the bestWhether he'll play a minute of Premier League football for us this season is a question for the manager. But my gut feeling is that he'll leave on loan. Crystal Palace have been linked with him already. And I'd imagine we'll try and place him with another English club to help him get some experience.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mail report we've re-opened negotiations with Liverpool over Luis Suarez and say we plan to make a £35m offer for the player.
Meanwhile The Times report the Merseyside club have not given up hope of keeping Suarez at Anfield, "despite his desire to leave".
Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre said:.
"This is an ambitious young player. He’s talked about wanting to play in the Champions League. It’s our job to convince Luis that this is the right place to achieve those things."
Suarez has spent two seasons at Liverpool and they've not progressed in getting any closer to Champions League football. That's his desire... so why shouldn't he consider a move to Arsenal?
Upon arriving in Vietnam, Mikel Arteta spoke about the prospect of star players arriving at the club this summer.
"I am excited. They made it public that they are going to go big. The sort of players they have been linked with makes me happy.
"It creates a good atmosphere and we need to do something because the other teams are doing it and I think we will.
"I believe we can be contenders again but it also creates a genuine atmosphere for the fans and they need that because we haven’t won trophies in the last years.
"They need something back. The support has been quite impressive.
"I believe in what we have but if we can strengthen a bit then we are going to make the gap with the other teams much closer. That’s what we’re looking for."It's always important that players react in the right way when new signings come in. If they welcome the competition, as a squad you're only going to get stronger. Football is a competitive game and there are only 11 places in the team. We need each of those starting spots to be filled by a player who has the desire to win and will never give up on the cause.
If we signed another midfielder Arteta's place could be at risk. But his attitude to that is bring it on. He doesn't want to get complacent. He wants to be pushed. And adding quality players to our squad will do that.
Finally, it's well documented that Manchester United have made a £26m bid for Cesc Fabregas. I very much doubt he'd move to Old Trafford but The Sun bring us up to speed with what Cesc is thinking with this fantastic "insider" quote.
They report: "A Spanish source said:
"Cesc would only go if Barcelona agreed to sell him.
"The Barca midfield is already looking very crowded for next season and you wonder how many games Cesc will start.
"He wants to play in the World Cup next summer and needs to be playing regularly.
"Arsenal have first refusal on him but he’d prefer a switch to United."Fascinating! But it sounds and is a load of rubbish. Manchester United might want Cesc, but I'd very much doubt if he decided to come back to England he'd play for them.
That's it for today. Back with more tomorrow.
