Spend some f*ing money -Boos ring out -Does Kroenke care?

A disastrous afternoon at the Grove. Beaten by an average Aston Villa. But problems created by our lack of transfer activity in the summer have come back to haunt Arsene Wenger.

And it looks as though we'll be down to the bare bones for our midweek game in Europe.

The manager will need to sign players to bolster his squad before next weekends game with Fulham. This afternoon's result must be a stark warning of what cannot be allowed to continue this season.

  3. Hey, it's still early in the season. Why the panic? Why the booing? Why must we vent our anger towards Wenger? Look, we must stay together and back our legendary manager. No need to spend a dime. Just play the player we got to their very best, even if we got knocked out by Fenerbache, we must still believe that this is the best squad Arsenal have right now tht are cpable to in any trophies. C'mon guys. Let's believe in the manager capability in getting the results. Face it, Arsenal at best right now are only capable to play in the League 2. No wonder our Reserves are getting thrashed so easily

    2. I'm sorry mate but thats the same old same old drivel I've heard for the last 5 years. Its the likes of you who pretty much give Wenger free reign to do what he wants with our club. The "In Arsene We Trust" brigade are as mad as he is. Just because he built our house doesnt mean he should be allowed to pull it down!!

    3. Are you nuts. We panic because we care for this club. We're definitely down to bare bones. Forget quality we need some numbers, otherwise we will have Steve Bould playing in defense soon. We are lucky Bacry was not seriously injured today when he landed awkwardly.

  4. Only way to force board into changing is boycott games and the purchase of merchandise as all they seem to care about is money. The fact Napoli, Monaco and seemingly Wolfsburg have a greater ability to attract players is embarassing. The money is their so for the good of the club it needs to be spent.

  8. And still Arsenal fans in the UK will spend their valuable money to go and watch Wenger and Gazidis' hoodoo. Boycott 2 games and everything will fall in place.

    1. sometimes it makes me feel trying to sign suarez, was just an act of blinding the fans..

    2. Well said! This club has become the laughing stock of Europe.

    3. What really offends me is Wenger and Gazidiz' gall to think that we are absolutely stupid ..& we will just go on like this. And why not? We have been going on like this for the past 5-6 yrs.. enough to bolster their belief of taking the mickey out of us every time. ..So as much we vent our frustration, Wenger and Gazidis may well be sipping French champagne in their bedroom jacuzzi and sharing a joke. And as recent history proves ..no change happens unless ..the status quo is hit ..hit hard ..physically or economically!

  10. I love thIs club and an utter shambles are a perfect description of today.......how on earth did Arsenal FC start their season with not just a skeleton of a squad, but absolutely no signings...I buy into the wage demands excuse but price? We started with 30 mill for Suarez which was a terrible opening bid but then to insult Liverpool is just stupid....I honestly have just given up on the Arsenal hierarchy, I pay their wages and I fund the transfers with my money...now officially stopped and a massive fuck you to arsenal fc the club I once loved

  11. The corporate Arsenal decide to sell the brand out in the Far East, with a little jolly for the team, but at what cost to the team? An almighty lack of fitness, and a desperate lack of positional awareness meant it was dangerously physical. Hell, get training, get Williams, even get Benayoun!!! We might have the worst home record in the league this season, I don't care how much they paid for the ticket, how doing booing help? The results speak for themselves.

  12. refs fault yes wengers fault absolutely no defence no midfield no attack no cohesion in our play no one taking responsibility so how do u think we'll win a football match let alone the premiership spend the bloody money

  13. look at the bright side loose on wednesday and wenger out

  14. Arsene Wenger has no respect for the fans once again he starts the season unprepared which proves he doesnt care about winning the premiership. He cares more about his financial performance than the teams performance so he can line his pockets with 8 million pounds per year as confirmed by Platini. He is not capable of bringing in the players we need to be succesful for whatever reason he is not doing it.Anyone who has any real football inteligence can see we need a change. His successful years were just as much down to David Dein and legends such as Seaman Adams Keown Bergkamp Parlour etc which he inherited. He is a hypocrite he talks of morals and doing things the properly yet he consistently ignores the fans and expects us to pay top prices and delivers rubbish. He is robbing us blind and you mugs need to wake up and realise that you support Arsenal not Arsene Wenger. Time for the fans to show their fury and get him out.

  15. You could see this happening from the very beginning! Its the same old, same old. Arsene Wenger with his little idea's that end up with big consequences to the cost of the Arsenal supporters. Wenger has either got to change his strategy when it comes down to the transfer market and his squad or he's got to go. He was apparently given £70 million to spend this transfer window and all he's bought - or not bought, is some 20 year french lad who made only 24 appearences for Ligue 2 side Auxerre in the 3 years he was there. If Wenger buys his weekly shopping the way he buys his football players all his cupboards will consist of is a few tins of baked beans and a loaf of stale bread. He might like stale bread with his baked beans but most gooners don't. What makes it worse is that it is us gooners that are funding this strange and non-flavoursome diet which Wenger seems to live on. What do we have in return? Nothing! We have trophy cabinets laughing at us and the only evidence we have ever won a title is that it is written in books and on the internet or on a rare occassion you might actually find someone that remembers Arsenal winning a trophy (< bit exaggerated but you get my drift). Hopefully what happened today will not be a picture of things to come this season but with the end of the transfer window coming fast and very little options for Wenger to choose from within the market, I think its down to Wenger and us gooners to pray to the footballing gods that things do perk up in the next week or two otherwise it'll be a guarenteed 4th place flop (like it has been for the past 8 years) or worse.

  16. Rvp sold for 24m, this year get rid of deadwood save on wages 25m+, so there we are more profits and nothing in return!!! open your eyes everyone.

  17. Arsene is disillusioned, suddenly all players in d market is either is inexperienced or too expensive. From his statement about dormund it shows he wants to give opportunities to the so called british boys by not buying qualities better than them. He didnt go all out fir gustavo so wislsh and ramsey can have more playing time. Arsenal as a brand and arsene as a manager don't command respect again in the market again. Nobody is dying to play for us again. Its shameful and the board is relaxed.from what we've seen today, top 6 will be difficult dis season

    ReplyDelete
  18. How on earth can the board sit and let this go on? have they no shame? im not sure whos fault it is they we have not signed anyone but its just not acceptable no more! we have put up with this shit for to many years now, ANYTHING POSITIVE FROM A PLAYER AT THIS CLUB AND HE IS SOLD!!! Get your fucking money out and BUY SOME DECENT SOLID PLAYERS!! if we want to challenge then we need to compete!!! at the moment we have no back wheels! Wenger get your finger out of your ass and sort it out! Get Arsenal some respect back

  19. Fuck you Arsenal, Ass in Wenger. If there are no new signings I will leave the gooners camp.

    ReplyDelete
  20. man all this bullshit "in arsene we trust" is getting redundant now. if we as arsenal fan stop buying tickets then the board will realise that we are serious when the team is playing in a empty stadium. 8yrs of this is enough!! tell that guy who is puting up that banner is time to put it down if we want our club to still play in the EPL. and fuck champions league we need to win the title once more.

  21. Wenger set his sight too low every season, if we set out to win the league we would not be worrying about fourth place. Wenger says we need to get in player better than what we presently have yet how many dead wood has he gotten rid of already. He argues that the players are too expensive yet he buy 8 below average players and pay the 40k a week rather that 3 quality players. With the way Wenger is going we will never ever again buy world class players, even if he is interested in the player they don,t want to play for this club. The board and Wenger don't seem to realise that a winning club attracts great players. If Wenger dos'nt change his approach we are in danger of slipping into mid table mode where we just make up the numbers of club who will never ever win the league no matter how long they have been playing in the league. If they were buying one world player per season since 2007 how different would the team look now. Nine years without a trophy and they jump for joy when they finish in fourth place. Speaking of Champion League 17 years in the CL and they have not won it once. So our achievement is coming fourth and playing in the CL, Wenger and the Board is satisfied. Wenger for life as long as he is there we will never win anything again. Long live Wenger and this Board. Peace, Jewth

  22. This is bullshit....am tired of hearing one thing over and over again...."We have the money to spend if we see the right players we will splash it" what's your (Asene Wenger) definition of rigth player? Are you saying Jovetic,Higuin, Fellani, Suarez, Gustavo,Rodney etc are not good enough for Arsenal? You (wenger) must joking. Today an average Aston Villa team expose you with a deserve 3:1 win under your nose. I don't get, you have your best players on the injury list and yet you some sign of buying? Every season we see our best players leave and yet you don't replace them, who does that? All we re asking is inject expirience into the team capable of competing for tittles. Am tired and getting frustrated been an Arsenal fan. The truth is, I don't see Arsenal in the top four this season unless........... Ayo Terkura Frank from Nigeria

  23. Ivan is just as guilty, as an executive member of the board, you cannot signed a single senior player is unbelievable unless they really did not have the money, of course.

Arsene, i think enough is enough. What have you been doing this summer??? Not a single signing, just demonstrated that either you and Ivan are just pure impotent at signings or both of you are taking the fans for a ride. Do not expect the fans to be contented with a 4th place finish this season, it just don't equate with the support from fans, financially especially.

We might be slipping into mediocre club status very soon. We are losing attraction and we just 'forgot' how to sign players.

  24. Time for Wenger and Ivan to go. No trophies, Wenger is a liar, the management have lost the fans & lost out on vital transfer targets to fill there own bloody pockets with some of the fans money.
Not having it any more. I'm not spending no more on a club that doesn't appreciate how its fans feel. Sack the management.
