Santi Cazorla risks the ire of Arsene Wenger after admitting Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is the best manager he's worked under.
The 29-year-old admitted his former manager at Villarreal and Malaga was the man he had learnt the most from in an interview with Abu Dhabi based website Sport360.com.
Usually when players are asked who is the best manager they have enjoyed working under the stock answer is their current one.
However the Spaniard spoke honestly, without any malice for Wenger.
"I learnt a lot from of all of the managers I have played for, but if I had to choose one it would be Pellegrini.
"He’s the coach that has given me the most during five to six years that I worked with him at Villarreal and Malaga.
"He was the first person who took me to Malaga. We have a great relationship and I congratulate him because he’s doing well. But Manchester has not called me."
