Goal shy Arsenal striker admits asking Henry and Pires for advice

Yaya Sanogo has admitted tapping up Arsenal legends Robert Pires and Thierry Henry for advice.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Gunners last summer in a free transfer from French club Auxerre, has made eight appearances so far in an injury hit campaign.

However he has yet to get off the mark in front of goal and says any help he can get to overcome that issue he'll gladly take.

Sanogo told the official Arsenal magazine:
"I'm not a naturally very talkative guy but I ask a lot of questions and ask for advice.
"I think I can learn from anyone: a former great player or a less experienced one.
"There is always something that will be interesting.
"This season, Robert Pires has been training regularly with us and every time I can, I ask him stuff.
"It was the same with Thierry Henry when he was here with us.
"They were examples for me, and many of the other lads."
