Arsene Wenger is hoping to snatch England youth international Patrick Roberts from relegation threatened Fulham this summer, according to a report in the Daily Telegraph.
The 17-year-old only made his senior debut for Felix Magath side last month as a substitute away to Manchester City but is already under Wenger's spotlight.
The teenager only signed his first professional contract with Fulham in February - a two year deal - but that hasn't put the Gunners off. Even if Fulham aren't relegated at the end of the season, Wenger looks set to pounce.
Fulham boss Magath said of Roberts:
"Pat is a very big talent and he will have a great career in front of him, so I think it is good for him to make the experience now in the Premier League, so he will get used to it.
"He will be a player that we need in the future."Roberts is considered one of the best young talents in the country and can play behind a central striker or come in from the right.
