Wenger warns fans not to expect miracles from dynamic star

Arsene Wenger has warned fans not to expect too much, too soon from midfielder Aaron Ramsey on his return to the first team squad following injury.

Ramsey has been out of action since Arsenal's 3-1 Boxing Day win at West Ham with a thigh injury and only returned to first team training on Thursday. But he's been included by the Frenchman in this weekend's 18-man squad to face Everton.

Wenger told the media this morning:
"(When you are out for) three months, then it takes two or three weeks. Aaron has worked very hard for a while in training now. What he lacks is competition.
"He is an all-round midfielder who can score goals and always drives the team forward, is a real box-to-box player.
"It is an area where we are short because we have many midfielders out.
"We have Wilshere and Ozil out in this area, so of course it is good to have him back.
"At the same time we had (Theo) Walcott, Wilshere, Ramsey and Ozil out, so you cannot say that you have exactly the same creativity and the same goalscoring opportunities we had before."
Ramsey had a fantastic start to the season, scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions and providing seven assists.
