Arsene Wenger says he does not doubt Bacary Sagna's commitment on the pitch even though the defender has not signed a new contract.
Wenger could select the 31-year-old to play in the FA Cup final even though Sagna has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Asked whether there had been any progress made on signing the Frenchman to a new deal, Wenger said:
"The ball is in his camp and I can't influence that. But I don't have any doubts over his commitment [on the pitch]."Sagna joined the Gunners from Auxerre in the summer of 2007. His contract expires at the end of the season when he'll be able to sign for free elsewhere.
