Wilshere wants to start in Arsenal's final game of the season

Jack Wilshere is hoping to start in Arsenal's final league game of the season against Norwich.

According to the Daily Mirror, the midfielder wants to prove his fitness for this summer's World Cup.

The 22-year-old last played for Arsenal on March 1. He was injured four days later in an England friendly against Denmark at Wembley.

A challenge by Liverpool's Daniel Agger broke a bone in Wilshere's foot. He's been out of action now for two months.

England manager Roy Hodgson has already said in interviews given last week that Wilshere is part of his 23 man squad to Brazil, even if he doesn't play another game this season.
